Copenhagen - A Dane is planning to make 2 000 copies of a banned sex education CD-rom and hand them out to Danish ninth graders this week, Danish media reported on Sunday.
The 63-year-old, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to Danish daily Politiken, said he was making the illegal copies to protest a decision by Danish Health Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen last week to ban the CD-rom.
The CD-rom was supposed to be handed out to the country's ninth graders this week, but the 60 000 copies were instead set to be destroyed after Rasmussen last Thursday said some elements were inappropriate for school children.

"It simply crossed the line for what is acceptable," Rasmussen said in a statement.
Especially offensive, he said, were the segments that talked about bestiality and the use of excrement during sex.
"What good is it to tell children and youngsters about sex with animals and sex with urine and excrement? It is my strong opinion that that is not the state's role," Rasmussen added.
The Danish bootlegger, however, insisted that the CD-rom was informative, and has invested 10 000 kroner to make the 2 000 illegal copies he is planning to hand out at four schools on Monday.
"I'm doing this because I'm angry that the CD-rom was stopped," he said. "It is both informative and well made, so I think it should be distributed to the students." - Sapa-AFP
