Kevin McCallum is the chief sports writer of The Star, a position he has held since the end of 2000.
A former sports editor of The Sunday Independent and the Saturday Star, he has covered the 2003 and 2007 Rugby World Cups, the 2004 and 2008 Olympics, 2003 Cricket World Cup, 2006 Commonwealth Games, 2002 and 2010 Football World Cups and the 2000, 2004 and 2008 Paralympic Games.
McCallum won the SAB Sports Writer of the Year in 2002 and has twice been named columnist of the year. He is a twit for Twitter and can be followed on @KevinMcCallum
