Johannesburg - Shares of Aquarius are the biggest gainers on Johannesburg's All-Share index after the world's fourth-largest platinum producer says it is disposing some non-core assets.
Aquarius is selling its Kruidfontein prospecting rights to Pilanesburg Platinum Mines for $30 million in cash.
It is also selling its stakes in Blue Ridge and Sheba's Ridge Platinum to a consortium led by China National Arts & Crafts for $37 million.
The stock is up 2.9 percent at 7.50 rand in Johannesburg, topping the list of gainers on the All-Share index, which is down 0.6 percent. - Reuters
