DRD: Non-executive director appointed

Chartered accountant Johan Holtzhausen had been appointed to the board as an independent non-executive director, DRDGold announced on Thursday. Holtzhausen, who would start on April 25, had more than 42 years’ experience in the accounting profession, having served as a senior partner at KPMG, and held the highest accreditation required to service clients in stock exchanges in the US, the JSE-listed gold mining company said. “Holtzhausen currently serves as an independent director and chairs the audit and risk committee, on a voluntary basis, of the Tourism Enterprise Partnership,” it added. – Sapa
