Cape Town – Sasfin on Thursday said a prominent, black female-owned and managed investment and operating group had confirmed an interest in acquiring a 25.1 percent stake in the financial services provider.

The JSE-listed company said the expression of interest from Women Investment Portfolio Holdings, a B-BBEE-rated company, was fully funded.
The group had completed a due diligence process on Sasfin but the two had not yet concluded definitive agreements, it said.
