Johannesburg – Sasfin says its group financial director, Tyrone
Soondarjee, is retiring after a decade with the company.
Soondarjee, who joined the group in 2007, will retire
this year, Sasfin said in a statement on Monday.
This will see him retire from all boards and subsidiary
boards from the end of June, it says.
“The board thanks Tyrone for his invaluable contribution
to the Sasfin group and wishes him well in his retirement.”
Sasfin says it intends appointing a successor to Soondarjee
and will advise shareholders of this appointment in due course.

Soondarjee has a BCompt (Honours) CTA (UNISA) and is also a CA(SA).
Prior to joining Sasfin, Soondarjee served Deloitte & Touche in various executive roles
and TNBS Mutual Bank as Financial Director.
He was responsible for the finance, treasury and funding
within the group, including balance sheet, risk and capital management.
