Hosken Consolidated Investments (HCI) would create and list a new platform to house four existing investments, the company said yesterday. The platform, in which HCI would be the major shareholder, would be called Niveus Investments. Niveus would be listed under the investment equities subsector of financial services on the JSE. The platform would hold Vukani Gaming Corporation, HCI Gaming and Entertainment, HCI-KWV Holdings and Formex Holdings. HCI said the listing would provide exposure to these investments, which had been overlooked by investors because of their size relative to other larger and higher-profile HCI investments. A general meeting to discuss the transaction will be held on August 30. – Asha Speckman
