Netcare would post an annual net loss, after making non-cash accounting adjustments on its UK property unit, the company said on Friday. Earnings a share “will be between 360 percent and 370 percent lower” in the year to September than a year earlier, it said. Earnings a share excluding one-time profits and losses would fall 10 percent to 20 percent, it added. Netcare bought General Healthcare Group’s 35 UK hospital properties in 2006 and its debt facility is due to mature in October next year. Its stock rose 2.82 percent to R18.25 on Friday.
