Johannesburg - South Africa's manufacturing output rose 0.3 percent year-on-year in volume terms in November after a revised 1.7 percent increase in October, Statistics South Africa said on Thursday.
On a month-on-month basis, factory production was up 0.3 percent but fell 1 percent in the three months to November compared with the preceding period.
Economists polled by Reuters had expected year-on-year growth of 0.55 percent and of 1.9 percent on a month on month basis. - Reuters
