New biz-show for township entrepreneurs on e.tv

Johannesburg - Dubbed TEA (Township Entrepreneurship Awards) Business Battle, e.tv’s newest series is a show outlined to profile and celebrate the entrepreneurial talent of this year's Township Entrepreneurship Awards. 

In its first year, the series consists of six episodes, 33 entrepreneurs and 7 judges and will premiere on e.tv on Friday at 5.30pm. The biz-show will be showcasing on-site visits by judges in areas in which entrepreneurs operate and tell stories of how they started their businesses to get where they are.

Studio shoots will be showing the final phase of the entrepreneurs, where they get to battle for the ultimate prize of being crowned the Entrepreneur of the Year in Gauteng.

Participants have gone through an audited process to be on the show. In its debut, it aims to inspire township businesses to grow beyond and make use of opportunities such as the show itself. With the theme propelling ibiznis yase kasi it is surely going to grip all the Gauteng entrepreneurs and those aspiring to start own businesses in townships.

For every episode you'll get to see the judges making tough decisions as to who will go home with the ultimate prize on episode six. Viewers at home are sure to love the show as it may inspire them to enter for the next season of Business Battle.
