Beijing - China's official purchasing managers' index for the manufacturing sector rose to for the third straight month in November, officials said Saturday.

China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing data showed the index began to rebound in September after four months of decline.

“Increases of new orders and improvements in some PMI sub-indices means companies have finished destocking, which points to further expansion in coming months,” Zhang Liqun, an analyst with the Development Research Centre of the State Council, told the Xinhua news agency. - Sapa-dpa
