Hong Kong stocks end higher

Hong Kong - Hong Kong shares climbed 0.51 percent on Tuesday, in line with a regional advance, following a strong rally on Wall Street although traders remain wary about tensions between Russia and Ukraine.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 109.55 points to 21,583.50 on turnover of HK$64.86 billion (US$8.37 billion).

In China the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was flat, edging up 1.53 points to 2,025.20 on turnover of 83.6 billion yuan ($13.5

billion).

The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, rose 0.32 percent, or 3.54 points, to 1,099.90 on turnover of 117.1 billion yuan. - Sapa-AFP
