Parliament - The presidency has received an additional allocation of R2.1 million in funding to cover legal costs, according to the adjusted estimates of national expenditure tabled on Wednesday.

The money has been made available in the allocations to departments to cover unforeseeable and unavoidable costs.

President Jacob Zuma was successfully taken to the Constitutional Court this year by opposition parties to force him to heed then Public Protector Thuli Madonsela's directive that he refund the state for luxuries added to his private Nkandla home.
