Newspapers have lost about 90 000 buyers in the past year, according to a report on Monday.
Audit Bureau of Circulation (ABC) data showed that from October to December, daily newspapers sold 97 000 fewer copies, or 6.7 percent less than in the same period in 2010, Business Day reported.
The ABC forecast that the losses would continue as more consumers and advertisers opted for digital media. - Sapa
