Unions to detail mass action against Eskom

The National Union of Metalworkers of SA (Numsa), the Food and Allied Workers Union, and the SA Catering, Commercial and Allied Workers Union were to announce details today of a mass action against Eskom over its pricing policies, they said in a statement at the weekend.

Environmental movement Earthlife would join the three unions, Numsa said.

The unions will protest against Eskom’s multi-year price determination application to the National Energy Regulator of SA. – Bloomberg
