Johannesburg - Shares of Anglo American Platinum, the world's top platinum producer, gain after it says it swung back to profit in 2013, rebounding from a wave of wildcat strikes.
Amplats says full-year headline earnings likely totalled between 480 and 590 cents a share, from a loss of 562 cents a share a year earlier, helped by higher sales and a favourable exchange rate.
Its shares are up 2.2 percent at 426.64 rand.
The company is due to report its results on February 3. - Reuters
