Cape Town - Curro Holdings on Tuesday reported a 67 percent increase in profit for the six months to the end of June.
The provider of private education to 41 393 learners in 110 schools on 47 campuses said revenue was up by 24 percent, from R705m to R872m.
Basic headline earnings per share came in at 22 cents, 51 percent better than the 14.5 cents recorded in the corresponding period a year ago.
Curro said in a statement that it had “an attractive pipeline of new opportunities” and was on track to achieve its vision of “80/20”, meaning 80 campuses by 2020.
