DRDGold: Finance chief quits in a hurry

DRDGold chief financial officer Francois van der Westhuizen had resigned, the company said yesterday. “Francois van der Westhuizen, 34, has, by agreement, relinquished his position with the company and resigned from the board with effect from Friday, July 18,” spokesman James Duncan said. He said Anthon Meyer, a former chief financial officer of Mintails, had agreed to a two-month interim appointment as chief financial officer of DRDGold and would be appointed to the board of directors. – Sapa
