Eqstra shares rise nearly 3 percent after the mining and construction equipment leasing company says it expects full-year earnings per share to rise by up to 30 percent.

However, headline earnings per share, the main measure of profitability in South Africa, are seen declining by between 1-7 percent when compared with non-restated HEPS from the previous year.

Eqstra shares are up 2.7 percent at 7.14 rand. - Reuters
