Johannesburg - Eskom yesterday insisted that it had complied with the process of the National Nuclear Regulator (NNR) in its application for the nuclear installation site licence in Thyspunt in the Eastern Cape and Duynefontein in the Western Cape.
It said yesterday that it took exception to what it called a misinformed campaign by the Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (Outa) that alleged the utility was rushing through the process.
Outa this week accused Eskom and the NNR of “hiding” the notice in the Eastern Cape Provincial Gazette, instead of the National Gazette “and shortening the deadline”.
