Johannesburg - Gold Fields on Tuesday announced that Impala Platinum (Implats) CE Terence Philip Goodlace would be joining the board as an independent non-executive director on July 1.
Goodlace, who has been Implats CE since 2012, is also a non-executive director of Zimplats Holdings and serves as a council member of the Chamber of Mines of South Africa.
This is a second bite for Goodlace at Gold Fields, where he previously held the position of group chief operating officer. He worked for the the gold producer in various capacities for 27 years until October 2008.

Gold Fields said in a statement that the board was looking forward to welcoming Goodlace and believed that his experience and contribution would “add value to the board's insights into the mining industry trends and markets”.
