Cape Town - A group of partners and staff at the Grant Thornton SA Cape Town office will leave the company at the end of the month, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

The decision was reached after differences between the two groups of partners could not be overcome, the company said.

It said the decision was endorsed nationally and was supported by Grant Thornton International.

“We wish the departing partners and staff well in their future ventures,” said Grant Thornton Cape managing partner Ian Scott. He would continue in his role, the company said. - Sapa
