Group Five up sharply

Comment on this story

Johannesburg - Shares of South African construction company Group Five jump after it says full-year earnings are expected to rise between 40 and 50 percent, in part because its African businesses and leading position in the domestic water and power sectors have offset a weak local building market.

Its shares are 7 percent higher at 40 rand, making Group Five the best performer on the All-share index. - Reuters
