Italtile names new financial chief

Italtile had appointed Brandon Wood as the group’s chief financial officer, replacing Peter Swatton, who announced plans to step down last November, the ceramic products retailer said on Friday. Wood, a chartered accountant, has served as a group financial manager at Italtile since August 2010. Before joining Italtile, he worked at auditing firm Ernst & Young for six years. Wood will start in his new post on May 1. Swatton, who stepped down to become a non-executive director, also starts in his new post on May 1. Italtile shares were untraded at R5.80 on Friday. – Londiwe Buthelezi
