Mine Restoration Investments: Meyer named as finance director

Mine Restoration Investments (MRI) had appointed lead independent director Anthon Meyer as the group’s financial director with effect from October 1, the AltX-listed acid mine drainage treatment and coal reclamation firm said yesterday. Meyer previously served as the chief financial officer of a large company servicing the government. He replaced Michelle van den Berg, who resigned as financial director on September 30. Meyer has been a non-executive director of MRI since June last year and he has experience consulting for a coal exploration and mining company and was once involved in the reclamation of gold slime sludge and sand in heavy manufacturing. – Londiwe Buthelezi
