Johannesburg - MTN SA - the African and Middle Eastern company’s third-largest operation - has appointed Ideshini Isabella Naidoo as its new chief customer experience officer.

The new role is effective from May.

Naidoo has what MTN SA says is “extensive experience in information systems and total quality management” and has “a proven track record in the banking sector”.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematical Statistics and a BSc Honours in Computer Science from the University of Natal. She also has a Masters degree in Strategic Information Technology Management from the University of Derby in the United Kingdom.

Before she was appointed to this new role at MTN SA, Naidoo served as the Head of Corporate Channels at Barclays Africa and as CIO at FNB.

Mteto Nyati, MTN SA’s CEO, says: “Naidoo’s appointment gives expression to our ongoing quest to improve our customer experience by attracting the right talent and tapping into best practice from other sectors of the economy. She brings into our customer operations a continuous improvement mind-set.”
