Nashua Mobile a wholly-owned subsidiary of the JSE-listed Reunert Group (RLO), on Monday launched a set of unshaped, uncapped ADSL products targeted at users wanting to download media, watch streaming video, play games online or run a small office.

The new services were offered in speeds of 384, 1,024 and 4,096 Kbps and enabled two simultaneous connections.

Subscribers would experience an uncapped and unshaped basic 384kbps service at R219 for data only or for R369 including the line rental cost. An uncapped, unshaped 1024kbps line would cost R499 for data only and R779 for line rental and data, while the 4,096kbps service would cost R549 for data only and R949 for line rental and data.

These prices would apply to a 12-month contract.

Tim Walter, executive head of marketing at Nashua Mobile said: “The internet is no longer just about web browsing, online banking and email - our customers also want to be able to download media, share videos, and play games online without worrying about running out of bandwidth or paying excessive prices for out of bundle data.

“We are pleased to be able to offer them an uncapped and unshaped ADSL service that will allow them to make the most of the services and information available on the internet at a reasonable price.” - I-Net Bridge
