Shares of Palabora Mining Company tumble 3.5 percent to 87.52 rand after the copper miner says all production has been halted following an accident at an underground mine early on Sunday.

The company says two workers became trapped underground at around 02:30 SA time while repairing a crusher. The first of the trapped workers was rescued at around 4:30 p.m. and is in intensive care, the company says.
