Safari Investments RSA, the property fund focused on township retail property that listed on the JSE in April, on Friday declared a distribution of 20c a share for the year to March, in line with the fund’s pre-listing statement. Its 124 925 square metre portfolio is valued at almost R1.4 billion. It has secured 154 568 square metres for future development and anticipates new additions will raise the value of its portfolio to R2 billion in the next financial year and to R3bn in the next three to four years.
