Pretoria - South Africa's deputy central bank governor Daniel Mminele said on Tuesday that inflation was “uncomfortably high” and could increase further.

Mminele added that monetary policy faced an increasingly challenging environment and interest rates would need to normalise in due course, but he gave no specific timeframe. - Reuters
