Sibanye suspends shaft due to fire

Johannesburg - South Africa's Sibanye Gold said on Wednesday it has suspended operations at its Beatrix 4 shaft after an underground fire.

The company said the operations were suspended “while it assesses the situation and brings the fire under control.” - Reuters
