Gaborone - Botswana's economy is expected to grow by 5.1 percent in 2014, the southern African country's finance minister said on Monday, lower than the 5.4 percent forecast in 2013.

“Growth will be powered by growth in non-mining sectors such as trade and business services,” Kenneth Matambo told parliament.

“Growth of the mining sector will be subject to the recovery of the global economy.” - Reuters
