Hong Kong - Hong Kong shares tumbled 1.71 percent on Wednesday, in line with regional losses as traders await a US Federal Reserve meeting to find out its plans for its stimulus programme.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index ended down 405.95 points at 23,338.24 on turnover of HK$73.79 billion ($9.52 billion).
Chinese shares closed down 1.49 percent.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 33.32 points to 2,204.17 on turnover of 94.4 billion yuan ($15.5 billion). - Sapa-AFP
