Hong Kong - Hong Kong stocks finished flat on Friday as a positive lead from Wall Street and a general advance across Asia was offset by profit-taking from the previous day's gains.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index was up 12.10 points at 22,965.86 on turnover of HK$51.40 billion (US$6.63 billion).
In China the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.66 percent, or 13.28 points, to 2,034.57 on turnover of 51.5 billion yuan ($8.3 billion).
The index added 0.40 percent for the week.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gained 1.15 percent, or 11.78 points, to 1,040.46
on turnover of 75.0 billion yuan.
