London - Britain's economy grew 0.7 percent in the final quarter of 2013 and last year enjoyed its fastest rate of growth since before the financial crisis, official data showed on Tuesday.

British gross domestic product expanded by 0.7 percent between October and December compared with the third quarter of 2013, when GDP had grown by 0.8 percent, the Office for National Statistics said in a statement. - Sapa-AFP
