US futures dip after new Russia sanctions

New York - US stock index futures were lower on Thursday, in the wake of new US and European Union sanctions on Russia and ahead of data on the labour and housing markets.

Russia's MICEX index lost 2.9 percent.

The Philadelphia Fed manufacturing survey is due later in the session at 10:00 a.m. (16:00 SA time).

Revenue is seen up 3.2 percent.

Dow Jones industrial average e-mini futures fell 56 points and Nasdaq 100 e-mini futures lost 25.25 points.
