New York City - US stocks were little-changed in opening trade Thursday as investors took pause after the S&P 500 racked up seven straight days of gains.
Skewed data that made the weekly US jobless claims numbers unhelpful left traders with little fresh news to act on.
Five minutes into trade, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 10.60 points (0.07 percent) at 15,337.20.
The broad-market S&P 500 slipped 1.03 (0.06 percent) to 1,688.10, while the tech-rich Nasdaq dipped 1.13 (0.03 percent) to 3,723.88. - Sapa-AFP
