South Africa's All-share index hit a record high for the fifth straight day on Friday, rising 0.79 percent as better-than-expected US jobs data boosted appetite for riskier assets.
The All-share, the widest measure of South African stock perfomance, briefly touched 35,310.10, the highest in its 17-year history.
The benchmark Top-40 touched 31,061.43, its highest since 2008. - Reuters
