Johannesburg - South Africa's All-share index touched a record high soon after the start of trade on Wednesday, edging up on a rise in mining firm DRDGold and packaging company Mpact.

The All-share touched a new record of 41,040.11, surpassing its previous record of 41,026.24, before heading into negative territory. - Reuters
