JSE stocks book record close

South Africa stocks booked a record finish on Monday, rising 0.49 percent as investors bought shares of long-suffering mining companies such as Impala Platinum.

The Top-40 index closed at 34,074.58, the highest finish in its 17-year history, while the broader All-share index finished up 0.42 percent at 38,357.07, also a record close. - Reuters
