The Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union (Amcu) will march to Impala’s head office in Sandton on Thursday.
The union would hand over a memorandum calling for Impala to agree to its R12 500 minimum wage demand and return to negotiations.
Amcu members at Impala operations in Rustenburg downed tools on January 23, demanding a minimum wage of R12 500.
Amcu members were also on strike at Anglo American Platinum and Lonmin.
They rejected the companies’ offer of wage increases of up to nine percent.
The union revised its demand stating that the R12 500 could be phased in over four years. The companies in return rejected the revised demand.
Negotiations have halted since the Commission for Conciliation Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) mediation process, facilitating talks between the platinum sector and Amcu, was suspended indefinitely earlier in March to allow stakeholders time to reflect on the current offer.
The CCMA said parties were too far apart.
Johannesburg metro police said traffic would be disrupted in Illovo and Rosebank, with Impala's offices located on Fricker Road.
