Solidarity had clinched wage deals with three companies, it said yesterday. A third round of wage talks was concluded on Monday at Murray & Roberts (M&R) Cementation with a two-year wage pact, including an increase of 7.5 percent for 2011 and 8 percent for 2012. Solidarity and Assmang signed a three-year wage deal last week, with 8 percent raises each year. A two-year wage agreement would soon be signed with Village Main Reef’s Tau Lekoa gold mine. –
