Pretoria - South Africa's energy minister said on Monday that “no deal” has been struck so far with any country on nuclear expansion, but the Treasury and Energy Department were working on the proposal.

The government said in May it will start the process to procure a nuclear fleet to generate 9 600 megawatts of power this year, as it battles an energy crunch.
