Johannesburg - The retail price of petrol in South Africa will remain unchanged at 14.33 rand a litre from next Wednesday, while wholesale diesel will dip by 0.4 percent, the Department of Energy said on Friday.
Diesel of 0.05 percent sulphur will decrease by 5.6 cents per litre, while diesel of 0.005 percent sulphur will decrease by 4.6 cents a litre, the department said in a statement.
The wholesale price of illuminating paraffin will decrease by seven cents a litre.
The price adjustments would take effect on Wednesday. - Sapa and Reuters
