PPCKetso Gordhan to take the reins

Pretoria Portland Cement (PPC) had appointed a former government official with experience in private equity as its next chief executive, the cement maker said yesterday. PPC said Ketso Gordhan would join the board on November 1 and take over from outgoing chief executive Paul Stuiver on January 1 next year. PPC said Gordhan had previously worked for the Presidency. Before that he was the head of private equity at Rand Merchant Bank for nearly a decade. – Reuters
