Johannesburg - The South African Reserve Bank's monthly leading business cycle indicator rose by 0.7 percent month-on-month in August, helped by a higher number of residential building plans passed and a rise in share prices on the stock exchange, the bank said on Wednesday.
The indicator collates data such as vehicle sales, job advertisements, business confidence and money supply to gauge the economic outlook.
