Johannesburg - South Africa's net gold and foreign exchange reserves dipped to $45.042 billion in March, from $45.337 billion in February, data from the Reserve Bank showed on Monday.

Gross reserves fell to $49.454 billion at the end of March from $50.137 billion in the previous month, while the forward position, which represents the Bank's unsettled or swap transactions, rose to $3.561 billion. - Reuters
