South African Coal Mining: JSE suspends firm for breaking rules

THE JSE yesterday suspended junior coal mining company, South African Coal Mining Holdings, with immediate effect for failing to submit its provisional report in the three-month deadline stipulated in the listing requirements. A company representative was not available for comment. South African Coal Mining has operations in Ermelo, from where it produces and processes coal products for international markets. According to its website it has developed a reputation for specialising in seam open-cast and underground mining. “The Johannesburg Stock Exchange wishes to advise that, as a result of the above mentioned company’s failure to comply with the JSE’s listings requirements by not submitting its provisional report within the three-month period stipulated in the listings requirements, the listing of its securities will be suspended. – Dineo Faku
