Durban -
Expelled Cosatu general secretary, Zwelinzima Vavi and National Union of Metalworkers of SA (Numsa) general secretary, Irvin Jim, led about six thousand supporters down Durban's Pixley Ka Seme Street for a Workers Day march.
Numsa was joined by several provincial structures of Cosatu unions including the Food and Allied Workers Union an the Democratic Nursing Organisation of SA.
The march will end at the Durban City Hall.
