The Financial Services Board (FSB) has named two companies that you should avoid dealing with. They are operating illegally, using fake certificates to dupe people into believing they are registered financial services providers.
u Arion Loan is falsely using the FSB financial services provider certificate of Africa Vukani Investment Management Services (FSP 691), with its name replaced by Arion Loan. Africa Vukani has indicated to the FSB that it has no connection whatsoever with Arion.
u Millennium Financial Services is using the FSB certificate of Econorisk Administration Services (FSP 24171) with its name replaced by Millennium Financial Services. Econorisk has no connection with Millennium.
The FSB reminds you to check beforehand whether a financial services company or individual you intend doing business with is authorised to provide such services, by calling its toll-free number (0800 110 443) or visiting its website, www.fsb.co.za.
